About me

I turned thirty this year and I must say this was a big deal for me. Realizing your age is a major thing for some people. I never thought I would be one of those people but apparently I am. My husband, Jamie and  and I have been married now for six years. I can remember a time while driving in the car he said to me “how old he thought we would be when we turned thirty” Obviously we were very young back then but I feel like that was just yesterday! Now a Four year old and over Six years later here we are at the age of thirty. I Have spent my twenties as a hairdresser and my husband is a web designer/computer nerd! Basically I’m not quite sure of all he does! I am now on a different career track and so excited about it!  We love the Lord and have been blessed with the best church ever! (In my opinion)! As well as the best friends ever!  We are so excited about what God is doing and can’t wait for more!

As far as my writing this blog goes, well I have always loved writing. When I was younger I use to journal all the time. At some point I lost that part of myself. Perhaps I could find nothing to write about or maybe I just became too busy! Now I am writing this blog, for myself most importantly but if you happen to read it I hope it encourages you wherever you are in your life. My life has taken many turns and on the outside perhaps it seems pretty smooth sailing to those looking in but the truth is emotionally it has been a bumpy road. The Lord has taught me over time how to give all of these emotions to Him and I wake up now with a Joy that is fresh and new every morning! I hope you enjoy and hopefully I can share more of myself with you as I continue to write!
